We parked in the beach parking lot and walked across the street. Kauai s north shore has an amazingly breathtaking attraction. The blue room cave is lesser known but is still easy to find. There are two well known caves on the drive to ke e beach the dry cave across from haena beach park and the wet cave near ke e beach. Once you pass the botanical gardens and the one lane bride go about a quarter mile and you will see an emergency helicopter pad and parking lot to the right. At the back of the main cave there is an opening to a smaller cave called the blue room. It was a very interesting fun and free experience.

Waikapalae cave also known as the blue room is quite simply the stuff of dreams. This is where the blue room is located but as mentioned it is hard to find. This large opening dry cave can be explored easily and is fun to explore with children. The blue room cave is located west of the wet and drive caves and tunnel beach.

The dry cave was very easy to find as it was right across the street from ha ena beach.
